Vietnam Ship Supply (VSS) is a one-stop marine supplier based in Ho Chi Minh City, trading since 2015 and specialised in new-building projects. Certified to ISO 9001:2015 by DNV and a member of IMPA, we supply and service vessels at any port or shipyard in Vietnam, from initial stores at the yard to routine calls at anchorage. What we do

Ship supply

Deck, engine, safety, electrical, bridge, cabin and galley stores. Provisions, bonded stores, medical supplies, charts and publications.

Ship repair

Machinery, navigation and electrical repair, underwater work, tank cleaning, dry docking attendance.

Ship service

LSA and FFE inspection and calibration, load testing, fresh water supply, garbage and sludge removal, underwater survey.

The specialism

What we are unusually good at

New buildings and initial stores. A vessel needs different things at steel cutting than it does at sea trials. We supply against the yard's actual build schedule across five defined stages, not against a catalogue. The specialism is the origin, not an add-on. VSS was founded in 2015 by a team with deep experience in shipyard procurement and new-build outfitting, which is why the yards were our first customers rather than our newest. We recently supplied new-building projects at Ha Long Shipbuilding, Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard and Vard Vung Tau.

How we got here

2015 Company registered Tax code 0313310521, registered 17 June. The domain was registered 2 June, fifteen days earlier.
2017 IMPA member Membership 1011665. Certificates on file run back to June 2017.
2018 First new-building project The specialism starts here, seven years before the trade press noticed it.
2020 Coverage expanded Beyond the southern ports and yards where the company began.
2022 Coverage across all Vietnam North to south, at berth, at anchorage, in dry dock and at the building yard.
2024 Windcat Elevation series launched First of six commissioning service operation vessels at Ha Long Shipbuilding, for Windcat and CMB.TECH. October.
2025 Armada 86 series completed Six optionally crewed vessels for Ocean Infinity at Vard Vung Tau. Final unit December.
2026 DNV ISO 9001:2015 Certificate C865376, valid to 24 June 2029. Audited by DNV.

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, we cover stock across all of Vietnam, so a delivery in Hai Phong or Da Nang is not waiting on a shipment from Ho Chi Minh City.
